This story was first published as a digital video for the author’s students at a Digital Storytelling workshop in Nairobi, Kenya on the occasion of the First Annual International Day of Sharing Life Stories.

The author had no written record of the story, so she transcribed the audio into ASCII text, which was eventually transformed into polymer plates that were eventually inked up and  letterpress printed.
