This installation is a wink and a nod to Marcel Duchamp. 

Duchamp : Passim: A Marcel Duchamp Anthology rests on a pair of austerely edged marble bookends and is propped open by a fragment of sea-worn marble. A littleBits™ microelectronic circuit, consisting of a tiny fan and modulated by pulse circuit, is secured to a piece of book board. The fan blows aloft a tissue overlay page that outlines the worn image of the black and white photograph of a fragment of a marble basin in a 1913 book art history book, The Childhood of Art.
